A Manchester based web app company, making apps for those with additional needs had suffered from declining revenues due to technology changes, and had been placed into Administration.
Griffin James was instructed to value and dispose of the assets of the business, being two main apps.
What We Did
Once our client, the Administrator had been appointed by the directors of the company, we collected information from the directors regarding the business and assets to fully understand the situation.
After providing marketing advice in relation to the intangible assets of the business, we were instructed to market the business assets for sale. To market the assets of the business, we advertised the assets widely, dealing with interest and receiving offers.
Our report was used as a benchmark against which to consider offers for assets of the company and the assets of the business were eventually sold for more than our opinion. Realisations were returned to the Administrators to in turn return to creditors if possible.
